It’s really Simple
Just write down what do you want to do. That’s the only way you’ll do them.
A few years ago this list would have thrown me off the track. Not because I didn’t know what to do…but because there were too many things that I wanted to do.
Sample list 3 years ago:
- Write to earn
- Write for myself with stories
- Learn aerobics
- Read up on theology
- Play with my kids
- Read. Read
- Take up dancing
- Bungee jumping
- See the fjords
- Walk on volcanoes
You get the drift…
3 years older, now the list is quite short
- Write my stories
- Write for others too because I can understand other people’s views and putting them to paper. (I now know that not many people can do that)
- Spend time with my kids so that I don’t look at other kids in my later years and say “Oh! Were they that cute? I missed it.”
That’s the list.
Everything else is secondary and I am much more sorted with my path.
So does it mean I have given up on a lot of things?
Nope. They will come but I will not sweat them out.
It’s like one of my favorite quotes says…
You are the sky. Everything else is just the weather.
Simply define your sky and everything will sort out.
